I always thought loneliness to be different from solitude, the former in that it stems from alienation, the latter in that it is chosen. People often do not recognize the difference, and just as often they mistake a “passivity cloaking a rebellious endurance” for a “passivity admitting a resigned acceptance.”

Thank you it means so much to me, the fact that you read this and what you've said. Please just always know that there is always something to be happy for if not just life itself - your a beautiful soul Mr Somebody and I appreciate that amongst all things once everything is said and done.

it's funny that you would always praise my poetry and thrash your own... but now, because you actually decide to share it with people, you have a chance at being published. yeah, i'm happy for you, but it's hard to express it when i've got nothing to be happy about myself for.

I approved your comment because I want people to see this, you are obviously very slow. Where in the bible does it say; "Don't say fuck (or words derived from that)?" I know many Christian bands that swear, go harp on them. I'm completely NOT Christian, I believe in people and have faith in the world and that we can do good therefore I don't have to follow any Christian guidelines so don't try and push them on me - what are you now, Jehovah's Witness, preaching to me and all? Obviously you're not from a religiously open country like Canada, or you are and are very ignorant. If you disagree with that one word you shouldn't be near this blog at all where I say "fuck" a lot out of anger, expressing my true emotions. I also discuss sexual intercourse regularly, illegal drugs, and very unchristian matters; this is a blog of a 'neurologically damaged' (as the doctors say) "average" teenager in Canada and if you're offended by it...so be it, I'm sorry but I can't help you.

You should scrutinize your entries, I found this poem to be vulgar and unchristian. Did you see that filthy word in the title of the poem? I don't think that is very theocratic. The brothers at Bethel should see this

I've had my share of pondering on the subject. It is not easy to go against the currents which has formed one into what and who he is, but, as a human being I take it as my duty to rebel against the herd in me. The very image with which we are imbued is an act of autocracy, since the female image is one made, "constructed" by the male, an image in which the female is "made" subject, as Simone de Beauvoir would say: One is not born a woman, but becomes one.

The illusion of romance is an escape from reality.

I have become completely enraptured by what you are saying. I am also now intrigued in this "The Art of Loving" and will definitely be finding this as soon as I can. It seems as though everything is constituted by our modern day society and collective likes instead of personal, if you get what I am saying towards preference. Even through fluctuation, that remains true. Thank you very much for your very insightful comments on such an emotionally driven, random, short, angry post that was really just meant to get the point across to somebody else...you really have opened my eyes up a bit wider. =)
